Ink #3 [Singular Editions]

Part of the Printemps de l'Art Contemporain

Studio Fotokino,

Conference with Good Press at 4pm followed by a vernissage at 5pm on Saturday 12 May.

The Ink event is dedicated to alternative and independent art publishers. Bringing together work from the fields of drawing, graphic arts, illustration, and photography, this event is window onto the world outside of mainstream publishing. The small budget for these projects, often combined with alternative printing methods, allows editors to work with total independence and to distribute their books with total freedom.
As part of the Printemps de l’Art Contemporain, Love Letters is shining a spotlight on Scotland with a dozen exhibitions in Marseille. Ink #3 features the Glasgow artists Jessica Higgins and Matthew Walkerdine who will present their Good Press publishing house, Alexander White who’ll run a workshop on risograph printing, and João Sobral de O Panda Gordo will display his publications. Other noteworthy exhibitors include the Berlin publisher Palefroi and the Slovenian publisher Look Back and Laugh.
