Where Till Roeskens shares a century of Marseille's history through the tale of Suzanne
Starting at 2pm, a choice of two walks. Full details available upon registration.

A starter walk to the rhythm of Suzanne’s story, from her house in the Aygalades neighbourhood to the Gare Franche.
> Suzanne’s Walk, Seaside
A walk guide by a resident’s collective through the Vallée du Pradel that is today home to the three housing complexes, Castellane, Bricarde, and Plan d’Aou.
Then at 4:30pm at La Gare Franche
The storyteller and guide Till Roeskens met Suzanne several years ago. She turns 86 this year and she is the granddaughter of explorers, the daughter of a fisherman and woman, and the wife of a doctor. To listen to her is to listen to the story of Marseille. Roeskens has been recording Suzanne and creating a narrative that can be told during the course of a walk.
An understanding of French is highly recommended for this event.
