Vernissage Saturday 26 May 2018 at 11:30am
“Territoires sonores” [Sonic Territories] is a project that was created during a residency programme that featured French and Scottish artists examining the links between sound and its environment.
The work of Pierre Laurent Cassière involves a mix of different artistic methods, ranging from kinetic sculpture to video to sound installations. The “sound poet” Anne-James Chaton collaborates with music groups and gives readings and performances of her work. Her physical art emerges from her writing. Isabelle Dehay evokes the passageways between cinema and digital art by working on short 16mm films, multimedia installations, and performances. Hanna Tuukikki works with voice and sound. She creates pieces that mix music, choreography, and costume.
