Claude Lévêque, Back to nature + Claude Lévêque, Life on Line
The FRAC public art collection is welcoming the acclaimed visual artist Claude Lévêque as part of MP2018 Quel Amour!
The artist has been given two spaces to create immersive sound and light installations that play with our sensations and our very memories. The two custom installations are a joint production of FRAC Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and the City of Marseille museum network and will be presented at the FRAC building and the Chapelle de la Vieille Charité.
The two installations have been imagined in such a way as to create a journey between to the two physical spaces they inhabit and visitors will be urged to move between the FRACE in the Joliette neighbourhood and the Vielle Charité in the Panier neighbourhood to have the complete experience.
Celebrated for his installation at the Louvre’s Pyramid, Claude Lévêque has now entered into dialogue with the architecture of Pierre Puget in Marseille for this exceptional prevention of a world-renowned artist.
