LOVE END GLOSSY
The artist Stephan Muntaner created the graphic identity for MP2018 Quel Amour! and he has reinterpreted a year’s worth of work for the unique exhibition Love End Glossy. He presents his original creations as large-format paintings as a way to pay homage to the applied art. The work is inspired by classic, painted posters and Muntaner uses digital editing tools to reproduce the flaws and degradations of this printing method.
Graphic designer, illustrator, artist, poster maker, director…Stephan Muntaner has spent two decades experimenting with images and creating visual identities for some of the most acclaimed cultural organisations in France such as the Merlan theatre, the Jazz de Cinq Continent festival, the choreography centre in Le Havre, and the renowned Machines of the Isle of Nantes project…
Founded in 2016 and nourished by the curator’s European network of contacts, the ArtCan Gallery promotes and defends its artists to ensure they enjoy the greatest possible international visibility for their work by publishing work and organising group and solo shows.
